Driving around Daytona can make your heart race and your pulse quicken especially if you find yourself circling the track of the infamous Daytona International Speedway. Car racing has long been a tradition in Daytona. It first started directly on the beaches in 1902 as the innovators of the industry tested out their inventions. Then the Daytona Beach Road Course was built and the first stock car race took place in 1936. In 1959, the Daytona International Speedway was built to replace the beach course, and driving history and the need for Daytona auto insurance has never been the same.
